The Centre for Intelligent Machines is located on the fourth floor of the McConnell Engineering Building on the downtown campus.

25 Years of Excellence

The Centre for Intelligent Machines, CIM, was recognized by the McGill University Senate as a university centre on November 13th, 1985. CIM will thus celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2010.

 

CIM is planning three major events for the celebration:

* Seminars series under the title "Brain, Body and Machine", throughout
  2010 and up to December, 2010

* A Beatty lecture featuring Prof. Roger Brockett from Harvard University

* A Symposium on "Brain, Body and Machine", on November 10th-12th

The registration on-site at Ex-Centris will be accepted on the following days (credit cards MC and VISA only):

Wednesday, November 10, 2010 - 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.

Thursday, November 11, 2010 - all day, starting at 8:30 A.M.

Friday, November 12, 2010 - 8:30 A.M to 2:00 P.M.
